Wellcome to the livestock applied research organisation in France call l'Institut de l'Elevage".

Our national association is dealing with beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goat, horse breeding.  We are working on technical, économical and environnemental issues. We produce references and tools to help farmers changing their practices into a sustainable and environmental freindly way.

What are you interested in?

You can discover the CAP2ER Tool which is used on a large number of farms in France to advice on climate warming but also water and air quality. It estimates services on biodiversity and human nutrition fonction (number of person feed, based on protein covering needs)

You can discover how a new model is developped in Carsolel research project to easily estimate impact of new practices on soil organic carbone change. With this tool, you are able to integrate farmers grassland management effect on different soil types for C sequestration.

We are presenting today our mobile VR app LIFE AMDRYC4. It is available for IOS and ANDROID (https://apkpure.com/es/life-amdryc4/com.UMU.LIFEAMDRYC4 or https://apps.apple.com/es/app/life-amdryc4/id1540739695) and you can also play through the web application at our official site (http://lifeamdryc4.eu/aplicacion/). The application is available in 5 languages (Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French and English) and allows you to simulate the effects of agricultural practices on the soil productivity, and CO2 emissions.
