0061 - Driving the Agroecological Transition

On Thursday, 20 October at 14-15:30 CEST, the Agroecology Transformational Partnership Platform (TPP), together with the Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT, CIFOR-ICRAF, and the Gund Institute for Environment at the University of Vermont and with funding from the EC-IFAD, is hosting an open webinar on 'Driving the Agroecological Transition'. The webinar will mark the launch of the four-year CGIAR's Agroecological Transitions research program. We will explore tools and solutions for driving agroecological transitions, including:

• How the development and use of metrics for agroecology can help guide policy and investment, while promoting a robust vision, measurement, and accountability;

• The importance of digital tools for rapid and large-scale technical assistance and performance assessment at low cost; and

• The role of the private and public sector in accelerating investment and incentives for agroecology.
