Purpose and Motivation

LEAP4NFSSA is about identifying and collectively solving problems and realizing opportunities. It is a framework for cooperation, and we want you to be an active part of it. We first want to develop the research and innovation agenda and take stock of the core competences. The purpose of this survey is to gather information for agenda setting. In a second step we intend to forge alliances for developing and implementing research and capacity development projects. Please fill the core competence form to make sure that you are on board.

Eligibility

Only employees of agricultural agencies, research, education, extension, and development organizations in West and North Africa are eligible to participate.

Personal data protection

We need your contact information to provide you with access to the platform so that you can participate in the further steps of the process. Under no circumstances will we use your data for any other purpose or share it with third parties.

Anonymity

This is a collective and democratic process aimed at building consensus around the research and innovation agenda. To give every participant an equal opportunity to have their voice heard, we will anonymize the information you provide before it is forwarded to the working groups for analysis and preparation of the summary reports.

Organization

The survey is organized by the NRF and BE team under the supervision DLR. The working groups in both regions are responsible for mobilizing participation by members of their respective networks, data analysis and reporting. The process is facilitated by AFRIS providing a help desk assisting and reminding participants to contribute in time. The data gathering campaign is spit in two rounds. Round one is open. People can submit information without having to login. Round two will only be accessible to registered participant having a login.
