Biochar's potential to sequester vast amounts of carbon and remediate soils is huge, but for many reasons the economics of producing biochar are extremely poor. That is why a new approach needs to take place. The biochar industry needs to be built from the top down. Once adequate supply is created and can be relied upon, businesses will be spawned.
