The Vetiver System is an open source technology that could be easily replicated by farmers worldwide with appropriate support from governments (federal, state and local), social organizations and research institutions/universities. The Vetiver Network International has been creating a world-wide community of practice that provides outreach and other important materials for everyone that is interested in delivering this technology, in agriculture as well as in other applications such as sanitation, infrastructure protection, bioengineering and social development.

We have been promoting the Vetiver System in Mexico as a basic framework to diversify farms, as an entry point to succesfully scale up agroforestry systems. We have been mixing The Vetiver System with Keyline Hidrological Design to provide solutions for climate risk reduction in farms, as well as water security at a watershed level.
