You can use the "How to" pages to upload videos or pictures. Please make sure you put the source of the photos and documents you use. That is your responsibility!



2. Do we have to register for the opening event?

3. What is meant with  "Opening Hours" ?

We would like to persuade you to have some opening hours. For us, "opening hours" means: being online at a special time, using a videochat tool (you can use the jitsi links we already created for you. You find it under "video chat link" on your stand page.  You can also put in a zoom link or another videochat tool if you prefer that)

If you have opening hours, we will advertise them so people who are intrested in your work can come online, talk to you, ask questions... It should be used as time for exchange.

We at 4p1000 secretariat use that a lot. What we usually do is: we open the chatroom and continue working until someone enters the videochat. When somebody enters, we have a talk. It is a bit like having the office door open and drinking a coffee together. Sometimes many visitors are coming in, somebody there is nobody.


4. What is an "Event"?

An Event can be a workshop, a discussion, a tour through your working area, an informative session, a get to know each other, a powerpoint presentation, a interview ...

You can be very creative - almost everything is ok.

You can arrange a special event for the 4p1000 fair, you could also use the fair to promote an event that is going to take place anyways.



5. The fair starts on 3rd of May with the Opening Event. Is it possible to modify the exhibition stands afterwards?

You can change content and make updates all the time. Though, it would be nice if there would already be some information on the stand site when the fair opens on 3rd of May.


6. Video chat – given the issues with time zones, is there also the option to have a text chat?

Yes. Different time zones can be a challenge. Peolpe can also use the comment function on each stand site or the 4p1000 chat. For the chat they need to login with the login data of the 4p1000 collaborative platform.


67. Is there a way we can monitor visitor numbers to our virtual stand?

No. It is not mandatory. You can also just build a nice informative booth site

If you try to put content on your exhibition stand it is very important that you use the backstage area:  https://wiki.afris.org/category/4p1fb

In this area you will find all the stands. Look for your stand and open the "how to" pages (displayed on the left site, in the menu). With help of this pages you can fill in information, pictures, videos, presentations and so on.

3. Qu'entend-on par "heures d'ouverture" ?

Il est important que vous ayez des heures d'ouverture. Pour nous, "heures d'ouverture" signifie : être en ligne à une heure précise, utiliser un outil de chat vidéo (vous pouvez utiliser les liens jitsi que nous avons déjà créés pour vous. Vous les trouverez sous "lien de chat vidéo" sur votre page de stand.  Vous pouvez également mettre un lien zoom ou un autre outil de vidéo-chat si vous préférez).

Si vous avez des heures d'ouverture, nous les annoncerons pour que les personnes intéressées par votre travail puissent venir en ligne, vous parler, poser des questions. Ce temps doit être utilisé comme un temps d'échange.

Au secrétariat de 4p1000, nous l'utilisons beaucoup. Ce que nous faisons habituellement, c'est que nous ouvrons le chatroom et continuons à travailler jusqu'à ce que quelqu'un entre dans le videochat. Lorsque quelqu'un entre, nous discutons. C'est un peu comme si la porte du bureau était ouverte et que nous buvions un café ensemble. Parfois, de nombreux visiteurs entrent et il n'y a personne.


4. Qu'est-ce qu'un "événement" ?

Un événement peut prendre la forme d'un atelier, d'une discussion, d'une visite de votre espace de travail, d'une séance d'information, d'une rencontre, d'une présentation Powerpoint, d'une interview...

Vous pouvez être très créatif - presque tout est permis.

Vous pouvez organiser un événement spécial pour la foire 4p1000, vous pouvez aussi utiliser la foire pour promouvoir un événement qui aura lieu de toute façon.


5. La foire commence le 3 mai avec l'événement d'ouverture. Est-il possible de modifier les stands d'exposition par la suite ?

Vous pouvez modifier le contenu et faire des mises à jour en permanence. Cependant, il serait bien qu'il y ait déjà des informations sur le site du stand lorsque la foire ouvre le 3 mai.


6. Chat vidéo - étant donné les problèmes de fuseaux horaires, est-il possible d'avoir un chat texte?

Oui. Les différents fuseaux horaires peuvent constituer un challenge. Les personnes peuvent également utiliser la fonction de commentaire sur chaque site de stand ou le chat 4p1000. Pour le chat, ils doivent se connecter avec les données de connexion de la plateforme collaborative 4p1000.


7. Existe-t-il un moyen de contrôler le nombre de visiteurs de notre stand virtuel ?

8. Est-il obligatoire de faire une présentation en direct à une heure préalablement fixée ?

Non, ce n'est pas obligatoire. Vous pouvez également vous contenter de construire un beau site informatif pour votre stand.


9. Pouvons-nous participer uniquement avec la page web, en joignant nos documents enregistrés et nos présentations ?
