Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2021

Dear Madam/Sir,

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the 13th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) 2021 will, for the first time ever, be held virtually in January next year and thus give even more people around the globe the opportunity to participate in the event.

The 2021 GFFA will address the pressing issue of "How to Feed the World in Times of Pandemics and Climate Change?" and invites representatives from politics, business, science and civil society to engage in a constructive exchange on the following four guiding questions:

1. How can food systems emerge strengthened from the COVID-19 pandemic?
2. How can the agricultural sector contribute to preventing further pandemics?
3. How can food systems become more climate-resilient?
4. How can food systems contribute to climate change mitigation better than before?

The various events at the 2021 GFFA are intended to serve as a source of inspiration and will look at the subjects of pandemics and climate change from different points of view.

Kindly already save the dates for the period from 18 to 22 January 2021 and take part in one of the world's largest international conferences dealing with key issues related to global agriculture.

Please see the GFFA website of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture for all the information and the save the date flyer.
